Scott Odell

Scott is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Geography Department and a Visiting Scientist in MIT's Environmental Solutions Initiative, where he recently completed a postdoctoral position in Mining, Environment, and Society. He has a PhD from the Graduate School of Geography at Clark University and a Bachelor's Degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. A Development Geographer, his research examines the converging impacts of climate change and mining in communities of the Andean Region.
