Quinlan Montgomery

Hi all, I'm Quinlan and I’m in my second year as a graduate student with the department of Geography & Environment and this will be my second year as a TA for GEOG 2104. I graduated from Stony Brook University in New York in 2024 with a degree in Environmental Planning and a Geospatial Science minor. I also played baseball at Stony Brook. Since graduating I have spent time as both an intern and full time GIS analyst with two different renewable energy developers. At these companies, I used GIS to find optimal locations to site utility-scale solar and wind projects, as well as aid in other early stage development efforts. Looking forward to a great semester!
